Originally from Ashland, Oregon I have been a traveler all of my life and am happy to make it easy for you to visit a foreign country. First timers are some of my favorites, but my business has been built on repeat customers and referrals because I care deeply that you have a fun-filled experience. I have a B.S. degree in Business Management from Southern Oregon University and you will know immediately that you are working with a professional.

The sea has been my passion for the past 25 years. My first time at sea was 1200 miles on a 25' Sailboat from Los Angeles to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. Five years later was a year long journey on a J-30, starting in Seattle, Washington and then we put the boat on a trailer to cross the US from California to Florida. From there we sailed out to the Bahama Islands, and won the 1989 Cruising Regatta in Georgetown, Great Exuma Island. My last big journey was in 1995-1996 in a Catalina, 36' from San Diego, California to Key West, Florida. The trip took 8 months and has been a highlight of my life.

Six years ago, I moved to Costa Rica and started Costa Rica Fishing Charters from scratch. The timing was perfect with the beautiful Los Suenos Marina just being completed for 2 seasons. I had the business savvy and language skills needed to make a charter business work. You will know at once that I love my job and the people I am fortunate to meet. It makes me happy when people tell me that they have had the best vacation ever.

» Clients are met at the hotel or condo personally
» Clients are met at dock in the morning to be certain of the boat and Captain
» Customers are able to contact family to confirm everything is okay
» Knowledge of fun tours in the area and help coordinating
» Chef services can be coordinated
» Liquor can be delivered
» Golf carts arranged for Los Suenos accommodations
» Transportation to the dock if group staying in Jaco
