Los Sueños Resort and Marina is located at Herradura Bay on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, only 10 minutes from the nearby beach town of Jacó and an one hour scenic drive from Juan Santamaría International Airport in the capital city of San José.

Getting to Los Sueños Resort from the Airport

• From the airport you will head west for about 8 miles (13km) and take the exit with signs for Atenas, Orotina and Jaco. At the stop sign (50 yards) turn left go over the bridge.
• After 1.8 miles (3 km) look for the church in the left side and take a left after a soccer field.
• Drive 2 miles (3.2km) to get to the new highway. Once you see the HWY don’t go under the tunnel, take a a left and drive 500 yards until a rotary.
• Once on the highway drive for 16.5 miles (27km) or until you pass two toll booths. After the second toll booth take the exit with signs for Jaco.
• Follow the signs and drive 21 miles (34km) till Herradura.
• Approximately 5 miles before Jaco turn right off the Hwy. onto Herradura Rd. Proceed 2 miles to our office which is 50 meters before the Los Sueños Resort main entrance.

Getting to the Airport from Los Sueños Resort

• Drive Herradura road for 2 miles until the Hwy and take a left.
• Drive 21 miles (34km) until you get to the new Highway and take a right.
• Drive 16 miles (26.6km) on the HWY until the exit with signs ” LA GARITA” and “TURRUCARES”. The exit is 3miles (4.8km) after the second toll booth.
• Exit the HWY and take a left passing down the HWY and get to a rotary. On the Rotary follow the road with a sigh to “LA GARITA”. You will drive 500 yards in the opposite direction you were coming from until a crossroad. Turn right on the road.

Clinic

The Los Sueños CARE Clinic provides emergency treatment and preventative medical consultations to the Los Sueños community. The clinic is located within the resort property, and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week. Multilingual doctors are also on call 24-hours to attend to patients at the clinic, in their residences or on board their yachts. If further treatment is required once the patient is stabilized, the Clinic will arrange for transport to the renowned CIMA Hospital in San Jose via its new, fully-equipped ambulance or by private airlift if required.

Beach Club

The Los Sueños Marina is the only government sanctioned marina operating in Costa Rica. Car Rentals

We work with the most reliable rental car companies of Costa Rica. The cars are renewed every 12-18 months and there are offices throughout the country to assist you in case of a mechanical problem. You can choose to pick up the car at the airport or have the vehicle delivered at the door of your accommodation.

Golf Cart Rental

Golf carts are an easy, comfortable and convenient way to move around this 1,100 acre Resort. All rental properties have designated areas to pack and charge the carts during the night. Golf Carts can only be used inside Los Sueños Resort.

When you need to relax there are to alternatives. One is to stay in the comfort of your accommodation and have a private masseuse give you a private treatment. The other is to go the the state of the art SIBO Spa at the Marriott Hotel and enjoy and full day of treatments.

Dining Out

This area offers a wide variety of culinary alternatives. From casual restaurants with local gastronomy on the beach to fine dining at the resort with extravagant Molecular Cuisine menus. There are also Restaurants in the area that offer Sea Food, Stakes, Sushi, Italian, Asian, Lebanese, African, and more. If you go out fishing you can take your catch and have it prepared. Our office can help you decide, tell you about special, and arrange reservations.

If you want to enjoy a gourmet meal and don’t feel like going out we can arrange a Chef to cook for your group. There a several chefs in the area however more and more of our guests choose to have this service so it is a good idea to arrange this service in advance.

Baby Sitting
